This my first read by Marie James and I’m so going
back to read more in this series. I really loved this story the chemistry
between Mak and Dom is off the charts and intense, Mak is a very strong person;
Dom is all Alpha with BDSM tendencies which made some hot and heavy senesce.
Dom/Dominic has been burned in the past by his x-wife so he has sworn off
getting close to any women. Makayla/ Mak to the outside world is known as Poison
Renegade MC Princess but she far from that, no one knows what’s really going
on. Makayla runs to Dom for help but she’s not sure if she can tell him
everything. Dom knows Makayla hiding things but he won’t stop until he gets the
truth. When Makayla gradually tells Dom her story Dom vows to protect her at
any cost. But can Dom not let his heart get involved? Can Mak keep her heart
out and just let Dom in without getting hurt? After all the pain and torture
Mak has gotten over the years from living at the club can she final be free and
happy? Can Dom open his heart back up and let in Mak? Will there be war?
