I’m
really liking this novella series! The books are short, action packed and to
the point!!
Roelyn
“Roe” Duprey and Whitton “Skinny” Thorne were childhood friends and sweethearts.
Skinny and his twin TT or Triple Threat suffered unfathomable abuse at the
hands of their crazy mother and Roe was the only person to look past his scars
and accept him for the person he truly is. Years pass and both cannot forget
how much the other meant to them.
A
chance meeting at funeral of Skinny and TTs foster parents reignites their past
and feelings for each other. Roe is on guard because she doesn’t want her heart
broken again and Skinny doesn’t want to make a promise that he cannot keep.
This story had so much emotion in it and Skinny’s story was just heartbreaking.
We also get a cameo appearance from one of Ryan’s MC characters that readers
will enjoy! When trouble comes knocking, will Roe and Skinny come to terms with
their past and move forward, or will the past of heart break and sorrow keep
them apart as it did all these years?
This
was a great novella and I am so looking forward to TT’s story!
