Bound by Chains by L.M. Roberts - Review

I truly thought the follow up would deliver and it just didn’t do it for me. The storyline and plot are there, but it was lacking somehow.

In the beginning, Everly is awesome and Talon is trying to come to terms for his feelings for Everly and he still cannot understand why he feels the way she does. But like in the first book, the story takes a 180 and that’s where it went downhill for me. I was sooo anxious to see Everly in her new form and the author just teased us LOL. But Everly does get Talon good and I was like “you go girl” in my Martin voice.

The story does have some funny moments and this quote from the book had me dying! “Where am I now though? I can tell you I’m not balls deep inside of her. Instead, I’m in Jasmine’s room gathering clothes like the b%$#@ boy she called me earlier. How the fu#$ing mighty has fallen.”

The story ends on another cliffhanger and I sure do hope the next story is very soon.

 This book is something else its soooo good; just make sure no one can read over your shoulder because there are some scenes that will leave you hot and needy and I had to stop every so often to look around to see if anyone knew what I was reading. So we meet Piper who is married to Cannon and their marriage is in a funk and Piper feels like she going to loose Cannon she can’t figure out what’s going on but she knows something not right. West is married to Tilly and their marriage has never be traditional it’s more of convenience; West hockey career ending unacceptable so they up and move to Florida and his wife wants to try something new swinging to try get West out of his funk.  Piper and Cannon agree to try swinging to see if it could help. So what happens when the guy on your morning runs that see and you find sexy walks through the door this book it what happens? Can Piper and Cannon survive swinging? Who has the best secret out of them? You Must Read!!

This book by far is the best in the series to date!! I am so loving this series and Chelsea Camaron’s take on this different type of MC story!!

Bladen “Judge” Jones and Tamalyn Andrews were childhood best friends that endured a childhood that no kid should ever have to endure. As their friendship blossomed as kids, so did their feelings for each. When the time came, both Judge and Tamalyn fled their abusive parents and never looked back but have always had to look over their shoulders to make sure that the old trouble doesn’t seep into the present. Judge has always resented being separated from Tamalyn all these years, but it was for the best to make sure she was safe.

Now that trouble is no longer lurking in the background, Judge finds Tamalyn and makes it his mission to make her his. This was excellent story filled with drama, shocking revelations, and of course Trapper’s sense of humor. Can Judge and Tamalyn move forward and put the past behind them, or is their past too much to bear and keep them from their HEA?

I really recommend this series to all those who love MC books! You will not be disappointed.

This was a really good story and I really enjoyed reading this book!

Thaddeus sets his sights on Grace while Grace is having lunch with her best Kayleigh. Grace has no clue who Thaddeus is and their first encounter with each other was hilarious!

From here Thaddeus determines Grace is the one and pursues her relentlessly. He decides to court her and it’s really sweet when we find out the explanation behind this. Thaddeus is a one hell of a bad ass but also has such a sweet side that you would think he’s not the bad ass that he really is. Grace is hilarious and strong minded in her own right and these two together just work.

Thaddeus knows what he wants and its Grace. Will Grace bounce once she finally realizes exactly who Thaddeus is and the business he is involved in or will Grace be the Bonnie to Thaddeus’ Clyde and be his ride or die to the end?

This was a great story and I recommend this book highly!! I’m glad that the author hinted that there will be more coming in the future. I’m really hoping Dillon and Kayleigh get their story!
